Two individuals from rapper Nardo Wick’s entourage have surrendered themselves to authorities following the assault on 20-year-old George Obregon. The victim, left in critical condition, was reportedly knocked unconscious after approaching Wick for a photograph.

The accused have been identified as 34-year-old Zachary Benton and a minor, 15-year-old Edward Hamlett. Both individuals face charges of felony battery, while Hamlett is additionally charged with the illegal possession of a firearm as a minor.

The incident unfolded when Obregon, a fan of Nardo Wick, approached the rapper seeking a photo. However, the encounter took a violent turn, resulting in Obregon suffering critical injuries, including a brain bleed and a concussion.

Obregon’s mother, devastated by the turn of events, vehemently stated, “At no point was my son aggressive, at no f***in’ point did he show any sign of harm! My son wanted a stupid f***in’ picture with his favorite artist! And this is what he gets! I am sick to my stomach to think about how this could have turned out!”

The severity of the assault has raised concerns about the safety of fans approaching celebrities for photos and interactions. The legal proceedings against Benton and Hamlett will shed light on the circumstances surrounding the incident, with the victim’s condition closely monitored as the investigation unfolds.
