A 60-year-old man from the 100 block of Market Street was arrested by the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office after attempting to break into multiple homes. The suspect’s actions took a bizarre turn when he exposed himself on a Ring doorbell camera.

The trouble began with multiple 911 reports of the man trying to break into homes on Market Street. Deputies swiftly responded, locating and apprehending the suspect without incident. Subsequent investigations revealed that the man attempted to enter at least three homes on the street.

In a peculiar twist, when the suspect faced difficulty entering one of the homes, he resorted to indecent exposure. The man exposed himself to the homeowner’s Ring doorbell camera and engaged in inappropriate behavior.

Undeterred, the suspect proceeded to two other homes, where his attempts to gain entry were also unsuccessful, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office has requested charges of Home Invasion in the 1st Degree and Indecent Exposure against the suspect. The individual is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday, November 16, at the 41B District Court in Clinton Township.

This unsettling incident raises concerns about the safety of the community and highlights the importance of heightened vigilance and security measures in residential areas.
