WARREN, MI – In a disturbing case that has shaken the community, 27-year-old Amber Nicole Dunbar of Warren has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. This sentence comes after Dunbar pled guilty to sexual exploitation of children and distribution of child pornography.
The shocking case unfolded when authorities discovered that Dunbar had filmed herself engaging in sexual abuse of an infant and a 5-year-old child. Even more horrifying, she then sent these appalling videos to a man in Tennessee, who stands accused of receiving child pornography from multiple women.
According to court records, investigators uncovered Dunbar’s involvement in creating and circulating child pornography involving a young victim she was familiar with, dating back to December 2022. In a chilling admission of guilt, Dunbar revealed her actions on December 7, 2022, confirming that she had shared three self-made videos using the messaging app Kik.
Two days later, her husband, Ryan Dunbar, reportedly contacted the police and made a startling disclosure. He informed authorities that there were crucial details he should have shared with FBI agents during their search of the couple’s home, but he had felt overwhelmed.
Ryan Dunbar disclosed that Amber had taken nude photos of a young girl and forwarded them to him. He also admitted that the couple had discussed disturbing plans regarding the child. However, he asserted that he had no sexual interest in children and had only engaged in these conversations to appease Amber Dunbar.
In light of these revelations, Ryan Dunbar faces charges of receiving child pornography, and his case is currently in progress through the legal system.
